Hi Jon,

I think what it is is that he gets very much over-loaded with requests. He's effectively doing as one man what Jmurray has a team of men and a workshop doing. Last time i spoke to him he mentioned that he had orders reaching around 30 for M2's.

I'll E-mail him and see what he says.

Regards Bez

Fair one, didn't realise he was so in demand but judging by his pots it's obvious why!

Bez or Shorty how much where these pots anyway?

Think I will get myself a f&%$£d up one first and a Dragoon one later on if we are holding out.

Hi Sam,

I'm sure that if you asked him to make you some up he would do so.

Hi All,

We have faced a little bit of a snag in regards to the 517th helmets. That being Chris doesnt want to make anymore.

Now as far as i'm concerned that's his loss, he could have made a bit of dosh from it, but he is snowed under with requests and has in fact stopped taking orders. What he wants to is shift the orders he currently has and then only make pots for Ebay, which he can do in his own time and as he pleases. There's no point me arguing with him about it, if he doesnt want to make them then fine, we'll have to look elsewhere.

At current Me, Jon, and Darren have these pots, but its not the end of the world. For initial impressions standard M1's can be used, however we do need to aim to get another alternative sorted.

There is a guy on the forum who lives in Holland who restores Helmets. His helmets aren't amazing, he uses odd looking bails etc but his straps look pretty good. I might send him across a PM to ask if he might be able to make the straps. If he can, i think we can probably handle adding them to a pot and doing the paintwork.

Alternatively, if that doesnt work i will ask chris where he supplied the part and the fabric, and get one of my mums friends with her industrial sewing machine to knock them up. Either way, we'll find a way around this problem.

Regards, Bez

Well let us know what happens.

If chris could just supply the straps for us that would be fine. J Murray / Top Pots stock fixed bale helmets and liners so we will get a helmet sorted from somewhere

Hi All,

Right, Chris has agreed to make more, but it must be more than 2 and he MUST have the money first!

We're attempting to push the purchase of these pots for a reason that will hopefully become clear quite soon.

For order will remain open until March/April. It doesnt matter how many people put themselves forward for a helmet, he will make as many as we please but won't do less than 2.

So if you want one, please do say so now so that you have the months needed to get the money ready and off to Chris.

Regards, Bez

Bez I want one hemmet and a set of straps. I will pay PM him in March for it as that's when I will have the money.

Good news by the way!
